Amanda Gant became a Realtor to share her knowledge and expertise in the DC real estate market, to encourage folks to build wealth through real estate, and to assist clients in identifying properties that fit their lifestyle and long-term financial goals. Amanda is proud to offer her concierge service to sellers, which is a program to pre-inspect and finance, ahead of closing, repairs and renovations by trusted contractors so that the property is more attractive to buyers. Amanda helps clients as they decide to purchase property, transition their homes from personal to rental use, sell their property and realize their next steps to maximize financial returns.
As a real estate investor, she purchased her first property in 2012 and currently owns and self-managers 10 units in Washington, DC. She serves on the Landlord Advisory Group lead by the DC-based non-profit organization The Community Partnership where she advises housing organizations in Washington, DC to improve policies and procedures to house currently homeless populations.
Amanda is a graduate of Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service with a major in International Economics and also received a masters degree from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy. Amanda has lived in DC since 2003 and is an avid cyclist who enjoys meeting clients for showings by bike. She also speaks Spanish.
